Discover the spiced flavors of Bali’s virtually unknown cuisine. Classes offer a fascinating introduction to the exotic ingredients and unique culinary heritage of Bali. They provide a valuable insight into the various techniques of food preparation and the cooking style used in our island homes. Dressed in black and white aprons and a copy of 12 recipes, participants will be guided into the many secrets, and flavors of Bali and at the same time, discover and feel the peacefulness of a harmonious Balinese home. Classes are conducted by Ibu Budi and Ibu Putu Eni, two through Balinese Master chefs, which bring with them more then 40 years of experience in Balinese kitchens. Classes are hands on and start with an introduction to the many spices used in preparing the delectable flavors of Bali and end with a sumptuous lunch where guest enjoy to fruits of their hard labor. Classes are limited to maximum 10 participants.

  6. Vegetable Salad in Peanut Sauce (Pecelan)
  7. Assorted Seafood Grilled in Banana Leaf (Pesan be Pasih)
  8. Minced Seafood Sate (Sate Lilit Ikan)
  9. Assorted Vegetables and Rice Cake in Coconut Turmeric Sauce (Ketipat Sayur)
  10. Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng)
  11. Steamed Black Rice with Coconut(Jajan Injin)
  12. Steamed Pumpkin Cake(Sumping Waluh)

Time table

  •   8.45  –  9.00 : Participants meet in Rumah Bali
  •   9.00  –  9.30 : Introduction to the spices used in Bali
  •   9.30  –  12.30 : Preparing of all recipes
  •  12.30 –  14.00 : Lunch
  •  14.00 – finish : Participants go home as fully qualified Balinese Master Chefs
